In the Korean thriller Phone, reporter Ji Won (Ha Ji Won, Sex is Zero) receives telephone threats after publishing facts about a sex scandal. When the oral threats turn into physical danger, Ji Won changes her residence with the help of a good friend (Ho Jeong). Later on, Ji Won also changes her telephone number to the end digits 6644, but from that moment on, strange things start to haunt her and her daughter. During her investigations into the distressing case, the reporter discovers startling facts. The last two owners of the phone number with the final digits 6644 either died or disappeared mysteriously
